About us
In 2019, the idea arose to set up a design studio with the company name Rafaël. Rafaël is the son of Mariska van der Saag, who unfortunately tragically died at the age of 2.5. Rafaël was a small, brave and honest guy, and that is exactly what we want to convey with our company.
We want to stay small so that your wishes receive our full attention. We have a genuine interest in establishing a connection with you, resulting in a custom kitchen, bathroom and/or interior.
We are brave by not following the crowd, but staying close to ourselves and thus maintaining our own identity.
We communicate openly and honestly because we want to enter into a long-term relationship with you.

History
In the 1930s, Nuth had one of the first Albert Heijn stores in the Netherlands. At the end of 2020 we came across this striking building and in February 2021 we were able to start a major renovation. Initially with the help of a contractor, but we soon continued the renovation ourselves with the help of real professionals here and there.
The building is located right opposite the old village butcher’s shop, where there is now a luxurious bed & breakfast.
